The varsity Wildcat hoopsters took a hard loss on the hardwood Monday night after a 63-55 loss against Richmond High.
‘Monday the boys played pretty well. Richmond made a few runs, we responded and they had one more than we could overcome,? said Head Coach Dave Brown. ‘I am very proud of how the boys have approached the season and their continued efforts everyday to improve.?
Junior Jordan Jadan led the wildcats with 24 points and fellow Junior Ray Luvine added 14 of his own.
‘Jordan and Ray play very well offensively,? Brown added. ‘They will need them to continue to play that way, as well as, get other guys involved as we move forward.?
The boys will take the floor next when they travel to Bloomfield on Jan. 5.
‘Over break we will be getting back to basics and improving our team defense,? explained Brown. ‘Bloomfield is tough and we will need to play our best game so far to walk out with a win.?
