The Clarkston Foundation for Public Education invited 30 students to breakfast, Feb. 12, for Student Recognition Awards Mathematics and Science.
The students, who were selected by teachers, demonstrate a love of learning, work ethic, and academic integrity, said Gary Kaul, Clarkston High School principal.
“A lot were nominated ? it’s an honor to be chosen for this recognition,” Kaul said at the breakfast at the Clarkston Community Schools Administration Office. “They have a gift, and they work very hard at it. I believe they will use that gift to make the world a better place.”
“They go above and beyond,” said Adam Kern, Clarkston Junior High School Principal. “They’re determined. They have grit. They’re dedicated to their learning.”
