Two suspects are still on the loose after breaking into home on Rochester Rd. in Leonard.
A 24-year-old Leonard resident returned home after work around 1 a.m. Saturday and noticed two white males exiting the front door with a large bag.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s report, when the men saw him, one ran into the backyard and hopped the fence. The other ran between his neighbor’s garages. The homeowner tried to chase the man on foot, but lost him.
According to the sheriff’s report, the men gained entry from a window and door on the back of the house using a pry bar.
Items stolen from the home included a car audio amplifier worth $450, 15 Playstation 2 games worth $650, 15 DVD movies worth $300 and 10 CDs worth $150.
