HealthQuest Physical Therapy: Experience/Commitment

Local physicians and residents who have relied on quality physical therapy will recognize the name of HealthQuest.
HealthQuest, directed by Phil Krause, a physical therapist in the Lake Orion area since the early 90s, opened in April of 2001. Krause and his staff let patients know they are the number one priority.
“In today’s world, people are constantly on the go,” says Krause. “If you’re injured, HealthQuest will accommodate your needs and schedule.”
Krause graduated from Wayne State University in 1979, and received his board certification in Orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association in 1991. He specializes in General Orthopedics and sports injuries.
Whatever your injury or reason for seeking physical therapy, HealthQuest is well prepared to meet your needs. Krause believes “a clinic is only as good as its therapists,” and he has surrounded himself with the best.
Dan Cady, Assistant Director, graduated from Oakland University in 1996, and received board certification in Orthopedics in 2003. His primary focus is shoulder and knee injuries, including biomechanical problems of the legs, especially running injuries.
Jeff Dehn, a Lake Orion graduate, received his Master’s Degree from Oakland University in 2004, and is working towards board certification. He specializes in General Orthopedics, and graduated at the top of his class.”He brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm towards his patients,” Krause says.
Kristie Wilson, another Lake Orion resident, graduated from the University of Flint in 1997. She has practiced Out-Patient Orthopedics for the last eight years, with a special interest in Women’s Orthopedics and Health issues.
Judith Senseney of Clarkston recently joined the staff at HealthQuest. She brings over 30 years of experience in physical therapy, and is NDT certified, making her qualified to work on neurological problems, such as Cerebral Palsy, Strokes, MS and Closed Head injuries.
Elaine Zampino, a Physical Therapy Assistant and Oxford resident, joined the staff in January of 2005. She has over 25 years of experience in physical therapy, and specializes in General Orthopedics. She also has a strong interest in Women’s Health issues.
Krause is involved through sponsorship and coaching sports in the Lake Orion area. With two children at LOHS and one at Webber Elementary, he knows what a difference sports can make in the life of a child.
HealthQuest sponsors boys baseball, girls softball and youth hockey, and has initiated a Saturday Educational Series with their Throwers 10 and ACL Prevention programs.
“We want to get more involved in injury prevention, and recognize potential problems that can shut down a kid’s season,” Krause says.
HealthQuest offers “easy in/easy out” treatment, flexible scheduling and same-day appointments. Most insurance plans are accepted, as well as work and auto-related injuries. There is no delay at HealthQuest.
Over the years, HealthQuest has developed relationships with most of the doctors in the area. “It’s a good relationship between doctor, patient and therapist, that results in a success story,” says Krause. “There are some great doctors in this area, and their reputations only get stronger with a satisfied patient.”
In addition to therapy, HealthQuest has a performance center where patients can continue their exercise and conditioning for a nominal fee.
HealthQuest is conveniently located at the corner of Baldwin and Waldon Roads in the Shops on Waldon Pond Shopping Center, at 3009 S. Baldwin. Hours are Mon., Wed., Fri., 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Tues., Thurs., 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sat., 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Call (248) 393-7707 to schedule an appointment.
