Having fun at Family Fun Fest

April is ‘Young Child? month and in honor of that, Lake Orion Early Childhood hosted their 14th annual Family Fun Fest.
Held at the Community Education Resource Center (CERC) on Thursday, April 19 from 6-8:30 p.m., the event featured free fun for children ages 0-12.
Local childhood and community agencies attended the event. Participants could make art projects with the Orion Township Public Library or Orion Area Youth Assistance, learn a little bit about fire safety from the Lake Orion Fire Department, get their faces painted, enjoy a ride on the train, fill up on some cotton candy and popcorn, take part in a cake walk or even have some fun on large inflatables.
Lake Orion Early Childhood hosted the event, which they feel gives parents a chance to get in touch with some local child resources, while their kids have fun with all the different activities going on.
