Serving the community in style’that’s Brandon High School’s fashion club motto.
Starting its second year, the fashion club is more than clothes, shoes, and jewelry. It’s charity, volunteering, and a good time for high school students.
The Fashion Club will kick off this year with Halloweenfest, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., on Oct. 28, in downtown Ortonville at the basketball courts on the corner of Mill and Cedar streets. Admission is $5 for children, parents, and children under 1-year-old are free. Activities at the Halloweenfest include: Costume contest, pumpkin painting, games, coloring, caramel apple making, as well as cookie making.
Profits from this year’s Halloweenfest will be used to make clothes for this spring’s fashion show.
