The Oxford Wildcat grapplers will once again advance to team regionals after pinning the Lake Orion Dragons in a 71-12 defeat at team districts held Feb. 5.
The boys won 12 of their 14 matches.
Winners included Collin Campbell (125), Vinny Vackaro (130), Edwin Schlickenmeyer, (140), Peter Economou (145), Noah Kinne (152), Zeb Throne (160), Wesley Maskill (171), Wyatt Hardin (189), Grant Krause (215), Ben Line (285), Jacob Call (103) and Alex Hrisopoulos (119).
Twelve Wildcat wrestlers won at individual districts on Feb. 8 and will advance to individual regionals on Feb. 15.
First place winners included Hrisopoulos (112), Maskill (171) and Ben Line (215); second place was Call (103) Campbell (119), Schlickenmeyer (135) and Krause (189). Third place finishers included Kinne (160) and Hardin (189); fourth place winners were Throne (171) and Jamal Pettiford (215).
