Goodrich-An area ice cream destination just got a little sweeter.
Goodrich Moo & Moore’formerly Moo Cow’reopened Oct. 1, adding a host of new desserts and lunches.
Jennifer and Nick Mendoza purchased the established business, bringing locally produced Cook’s Farm Dairy Ice Cream along with Michigan made Ashby’s Ice Cream to town.
In addition, patrons can construct their own sandwiches with a variety of cheeses, meats, breads and toppings.
‘It’s a lunch box to go,? said Nick, who brings more than 17 years of food preparation experience, along with a culinary degree from Oakland Community College, to the business. ‘We’re open year around now and provide a great choice for lunches and dinners. From panini sandwiches to soups to fresh pastries, Moo & Moore has a great menu anytime.?
Jennifer earned a culinary arts degree from Henry Ford Community College and has worked with several of the pastry chiefs over the past years.
‘Stop in for a 5 inch high New York style cheesecake slice,? she said. ‘We’ll have slices or cakes made to order’also our ice cream cakes are outstanding. Just call ahead, we can make it to order. This fall we have caramel apples with some very unique toppings and as the holidays approach let us bake your pies for that big meal. Cream pies, pumpkin, pecan or apple we can make just the pie for any taste.?
Goodrich Moo & Moore, 8233 A S. State Road, Goodrich is open 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
