The Goodrich Board of Education recently approved spending $6,905 for middle school band instruments, including orchestra bells, a tuba, a bass clarinet, and a baritone saxophone.
The funds will be drawn from a bond issue to equip the band.
‘We wouldn’t have too many tuba players if they had to buy their own,? said Ken Rappuhn, board trustee.
