Lake Orion High School’s girls varsity basketball team moved to 3-2 on the season after winning on the road against Canton High School in overtime, 55-51, on Dec. 12.
Senior Izzy Wotlinski dominated for Lake Orion on both ends of the court, scoring 28 points, collecting 10 rebounds, stealing the ball eight times and earning three assists. Senior Charlotte Peplowski scored 13 points and had six steals in the game, while senior Amelia Guccione collected 19 rebounds.
The Dragons’ next game is at LOHS against Bay City Western High School at 7 p.m. on Thursday. – J.G.
