Giddyup!

On Saturday, riders from all over Oakland County gathered at the Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Oxford for their 1st Annual Horse Show.
About 30 riders, both young and old, showed family members and friends how they could trot on their horse and performed various exercises showing their coordination, mobility and flexibility.
Some riders could be heard yelling ‘yee-haw!? and proudly waving to their families in the audience.
The event also featured face-painting, a horseshoe making demonstration from Becker Horseshoe and Powers Horseshoe, a clown making balloon hats, cotton candy, food and games for the little ones.
Banbury Cross was founded in 1991 and provides therapeutic riding for people with mental and physical disabilities.
