Once again this year, Lake Orion citizens and organizations came together to create a spectacular celebration of our country’s independence. Special acknowledgement to those who spearheaded the incredible fireworks displays spanning two weekends: Lake Orion Lion’s Club, Carl Cyrowski, County Commissioner Michael Gingell and his wife Jessica, and Orion Township Supervisor Chris Barnett. It is no surprise that Lake Orion was recently ranked 14th in the nation for Fourth of July Fireworks. Our thanks also go out to Dr. Mastromatteo for his ongoing commitment to recognizing our veterans who gave their lives to maintain our freedom. Thanks to all of our community members who contributed to this amazing and memorable observance.
