Marian Emery, lifelong Clarkston resident, was recognized for her 60 years of membership at the May 16-18 P.E.O. State Convention.
Emery, member of P.E.O. Chapter AW, Clarkston, celebrated with 586 Michigan P.E.O.s at Saginaw State Valley State University. Fifteen Clarkston P.E.O.s attended to show their support.
Emery has served in all of the offices of both the local chapter and the Michigan State Chapter. of P.E.O., international philanthropic and educational organization founded in 1869 at Iowa Wesleyan College.
