Embezzlement case moved to circuit court

Ortonville – The embezzlement case of the former Belle Ann Parent
Organization treasurer was bound over to circuit court this week.
The case of Lori Ann Ruhle, an Ortonville resident accused of embezzling $2,688 in BAPO funds after a 2003 investigation, will go before Judge Richard D. Kuhn of Oakland County 6th District Court at 1:30 March 30.Ruhle faces felony embezzling charges of an agent or trustee of $1,000 or more, but less than $20,000, and could face fines and a maximum of five years in prison.
