The annual Dragon Dash 8K run/walk took place in Lake Orion on May 15. Adam Frezza, 21, fnished first overall against the men and women with a time of 24:45.

Women
The overall female winners were Ashley Wharton of Lake Orion, age 14, in first and 19th place overall with a time of 33:03. Also Anita Holtzapple, age 50, and in 129th place overall with a time of 47:35.
Other winners for the women’s categories: For women 13 and under, first place was Danielle Leigh, age 13, with a time of 1:12.03 (181 overall).
Women 14-19, the first place finisher was Sarah Powell, age 14, with 37:20 and (41).
Women 20-24, first place was Christina Marsack, age 20, with a time of 45:17 (104).
Women 25-29, the winner was Jennifer Clark, age 27, with 44:01 (94).
Women 30-34, Wendy Zyburt, age 30, with 35:29 (33).
