The Lake Orion boys varsity basketball team beat Novi High School, 51-46, in overtime on Friday, after losing to Canton High School, 48-41, on Thursday.
The Dragons are 2-1 over their last three games, and 2-4 this season.
Three Dragons scored more than 10 points against Novi. Senior Gabe Scott led Lake Orion in scoring with 13 points including three three-pointers, followed by junior Nathan Giacolone and senior Zack Parks who each scored 10 points. Junior Will Farmer scored nine points and senior Nick Galban scored seven.
LOHS senior Zack Parks scored 14 points in the Dragons’ home loss to Canton High School on Thursday, while junior Will Farmer scored 9.
The Dragon’s first victory of the season came on Dec. 10 when they beat Seaholm 55-27.
The boys’ next game is at LOHS against Athens High School on Dec. 20. – J.G.
