The Lake Orion Lions Club annual Christmas Basket Program helps local families and senior citizens who are less fortunate.
They are accepting donations of non-perishable food items and new kids’ toys until Dec. 15.
The baskets will be packaged and then delivered on Dec. 17.
Each Christmas season, the Lions delivers at least a week’s worth of food and gifts for the children to over 200 needy families in the Lake Orion community.
In addition, over 50 seniors receive a basket of food.
Drop off is available at:
*The Lake Orion Review (30 N. Broadway St.),
*Green Hippo Gifts (Broadway/Flint St.)
*Along M-24 at Wonder Cleaners (LO & Oxford),
*Lakes Credit Union on M-24,
*PNC Bank, Muffler Man, Rumorz Hair Salon, the Orion Sports Bar, Crates Coffeehouse, and Culver’s, all along M-24
*Along Joslyn Road at the Orion Township Hall and theOrion Township Library,
*Along Baldwin Road at Great Harvest Bread and at the Great Lakes Athletic Club.
*At the Lake Orion Village Hall on Church Street.
