Currently, dogs aren’t allowed at Green’s Park on M-24. One village councilman said May 9 he doesn’t want to see any dogs in parks where children are playing.
‘Some dogs are aggressive; children are always running around. Even on leash, a dog could jump at children,? Lake Orion Village Councilman Doug Dendel said. ‘There’s danger there.?
Councilman John Ranville agreed there’s no place for dogs at Children’s Park on South Broadway.
Councilman Tom Albert thinks dogs should be allowed in village parks as long as they are on a leash.
