District down 10 due to grads

Oxford Community Schools appears to have lost a handful students.
The head count on student Count Day (Feb. 13) was 5,677 which is 10 less students from last fall, due to graduations at Cross Roads for Youth and Crossing Bridges High School, according to Linda Lewis, communications coordinator for the district.
Lewis said the district did not have an official statement because the count was ‘essentially unchanged from the fall.?
However, she did note that the count will not be certified until March 27 when the student body count that determines state funding for the district will be finalized.
