The village council approved the appointments of Jerry Dywasuk and Leila Freijy to the Downtown Development Authority Board for terms ending in November of 2011.
Dywasuk, the supervisor of Orion Township, was reappointed to a position that was set to expire this week.
Freijy, owner of Little Monsters and the Flint Street Gallery (15 E. Flint Street) was appointed to the expiring position previously held by Jack Kobliska.
In addition to the unanimous votes on the two appointments, council also voted to send a letter of thanks to Kobliska for his efforts.
