Dear Editor,
It is very sad that the world we live in has come to firing a person like JoAnn Van Tassel.
She is dedicated to the town of Lake Orion, so much that on a scale of 1-10, she would be a 100!
I am very curious to see what happens to this community after she leaves.
As for her people skills… well, we all need to work on our flaws a bit, don’t we? But to fire a woman of such dedication is in the worst interest of the village.
When the new manager comes in, I hope that person is aware of such disrespect and cruelty this council has put upon such an influential position.
I would also like to point out how many of the members were male that voted her out. Are you all afraid of a powerful woman?
Seems to me that’s what it comes down to. Old school ‘little men? wanting to be big! Shame on you, Churchill, you make me ill.
