Computer ills? The Comp Doc comes to town

Groveland Twp.-A local company has expanded.
Local businessman Joe Bommarito recently opened ‘The Comp Doc,? a computer service and repair company.
‘Customers were constantly asking for assistance with their laptops, PCs and tablets,? said Bommarito, owner of the Wireless Zone franchises of Ortonville and Frankenmuth. ‘We couldn’t really pinpoint any local IT service providers who offer the level of customer service that we do here in our stores.?
So Bommarito teamed up with a company that will complement his business. The Verizon retailer primarily sells mobile phones, tablets and accessories, but he’s now looking to assist customers with a new partnership.
‘We are a drop-off location for technology equipment,? added Bommarito. ‘As the business grows we may soon have a storefront for The Comp Doc. But right now just stop by The Wireless Zone during business hours.?
Andrew Samalot, computer technician and senior at Brandon High School, will handle the repairs. From issues with computers, tablets, printers, diagnostics, network or data, Samalot will provide the service necessary. A ‘comp doctor? will even come to your home or business to perform certain services.
‘We make house calls just like doctors used to do,? said Bommarito. ‘No need to use the ‘big box stores,? we’ll take care of your computer needs right here in town. We’re a local company with local ties right here in town.?
