Coldwell Banker celebrates 100th birthday

After years doing business guided by the ethics and integrity of founder Colbert Coldwell, Coldwell Banker is celebrating their 100th birthday this month, and everyone’s invited.
Oxford’s Coldwell Banker Shooltz will be throwing a huge birthday bash and customer appreciation picnic on Thursday, August 17, from 3-8 p.m.
The public can enjoy free hot dogs, chips, pop and water while taking a tour through their 110 S. Washington St. office and meeting with real estate agents.
There will be hourly prize drawings for gift certificates or cash and kids will have a blast on the bounce house, eating hot popcorn or getting their face painted. Bingo the Bear will put on a clown show at 4 p.m. for all to enjoy.
Chris Hendrix, General Manager for Coldwell Banker Shooltz, encourages anyone from area businessess, customers past, present and future to attend the picnic.
‘Even if you don’t stay all day, come and grab a bite to eat or bring your kids by,? he said.
Hendrix said over the last 100 years, Coldwell Banker has risen to over 3,800 offices with over 126,000 real estate agents in 29 countries worldwide.
They’re hosting the picnic to give a big ‘thank you? to their customers.
‘We’re just appreciative of this area out here and the business we’ve done,? he said.
