From coffee roasted in Goodrich to pastries baked in Clarkston to a host of other Michigan-made products’Coffee Zone, 830 S. Ortonville Road, Ortonville is the breakfast and lunch spot for some new tastes right in town.
‘We work hard to support Michigan products,? said Dennis Hamlin, owner. ‘If you’re looking for the best coffee in town along with great breakfast wraps, lunch salads and sandwiches, check us out.?
Hamlin opened Coffee Zone in January after realizing the Ortonville area needs a great cup of coffee.
‘I’ve always been a fan of great coffee and my goal was make the best right here in town,? said Hamlin. ‘We start with bottled purified water’that keeps the coffee consistent and the flavor just right.?
Coffee Zone features doughnuts, bagels, pastries, and A-Bean-to-Go coffee. In addition to specialty coffee which includes lattes, frappuccino and coffee over ice’the local eatery also provides breakfast sandwiches, egg muffins, sandwiches, and salads.
‘When the weather gets cooler, we’ll have a variety of soups, too,? he said.
Hamlin suggests trying a sandwich with his famous homemade chipotle sauce.
‘Customers can dine inside or carry out,? he said. ‘Check out our dining area.?
