Update from Chris Barnett, Orion Twp. Supervisor:

Eastbound Clarkston Road at M-24 will close September 15th at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Speedway Station will be closed in order to re-construct the intersection. The westbound lane will remain open. A lane shift will also occur at this time in that area.

The official alternate route is Joslyn Road for this closure. If this affects your drive, we urge everyone to plan an alternate route and be mindful of residential speed limits and bus stops.

Stadium / Scripps Roads:  We are working with MDOT to add as much “green light time” as possible to the south bound M-24 left turn lane at Stadium Drive. We are urging drivers to use the new SB-M-24 left turn lane just south of Scripps Road. This left turn lane is Now OPEN.

The New M-24 and $30 million project is on track to be completed the first half of November.

Please be patient and make a safe drive the priority!
