Clarkston couple marries

Jennie Linenger and John-Paul Calka were married on April 6 at the Sandals Negril Resort and Spa in Jamaica surrounded by 17 of their closest friends and family.
The four-day celebration was spent on a sunset catamaran ride, relaxing on the beach, cliff jumping at Rick’s Caf?, and dining alfresco by the sea. Lots of love and laughter surrounded the couple as they joined their lives together in marriage.
The bride, 27, works for Demarle at Home in Highland, Mich. She graduated in 2004 from Michigan State University and is the daughter of Ken and Linda Linenger of Clarkston.
The groom, 26, is employed by Skiers Pier in Waterford. He is the son of Anne Calka of Waterford.
The couple resides in Clarkston.

Marley Brown and Joe Knakal were joined in matrimony in a double-ring ceremony with 200 guests, Saturday, March 29, at St. Dan’s church.
Deacon John Schulte officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Devon Brown of Clarkston. She is a graduate of Clarkston High School and Rochester College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
The groom, son of Mike and Diane Knakal of Clarkston, is a graduate of Clarkston High School and University of Michigan, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He is a mechanical engineer with Alsons in Hillsdale.
The couple resides in Hillsdale.
