Clarkston second-grade students toured downtown Clarkston during the month of May to learn first hand about the history of their hometown. Local shopkeepers, including The Clarkston News, open their doors to the groups during each school’s annual walking tour, and serve as tour guides, explaining the history of their businesses and buildings.
