Caller wasn’t telling the truth

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a bank robbery at T.C.I. Credit Union in Orion Township on Feb. 24, only to later find out that the call was false.
According to the OCSD, deputies responded to a call of a possible robbery at the credit union at Lapeer Road and Silverbell.
According to information given by the female who called 911, a robbery was in progress and the suspects were in the drive-thru.
OCSD units arrived at the scene and discovered that the complaint was false. Deputies checked the business, found everything secure and left.
