Brandon edged Romeo 57-55 to win the eight team Brandon/Lapeer Invitational Thursday, Aug. 17.
Hanna Hubbard’s decisive three set win in the final at #3 singles clinched it for Brandon. Brittany Barber won the #2 singles flight while Rachel Hartwig won the #4 flight in her first varsity action. Jessica DeVoogd came in fourth at the #1 flight.
In doubles, Natalie Barth and Sheree Ogle won the #4 flight in their first varsity matches, while Lauren Dixon and Shannon Elliot at #1 and Emily Fluck and Samantha Adams at #3 came in second. Stacey Brooks and Ashley Adams came in third at the #2 flight.
