Brandon Twp.- From a 20-year stint in the entertainment industry to a degree at a prestigious art school to innovative designs as a metalsmith? new Brandon Middle School art teacher Jody Daniels aims to spark imagination and thinking ‘outside-the-box.?
‘It’s all about finding creative ways to solve problems and situations,? said Daniels, a Wyandotte High School graduate and township resident. ‘You don’t have to be an artist to be creative.?
Daniels who started work last week, graduated from Michigan State University where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree. She later attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit where she earned a certification as an art teacher. ‘I encouraged artwork in the stage sets and lighting at the shows,? said Daniels. ‘I had a team working together to get these shows up and going.?
