Brandon’s varsity boys golf team didn’t quite have enough to defeat Davison in an Aug. 29 matchup.
The host Cardinals outdueled the Blackhawks 162-170 in a match at Davison. Brian Jordan led the Blackhawks? efforts with a round of 40.
Josh Williams and Tom Voyer each contributed a 43, while Will Hubbard shot 44. Other Brandon competitors were Brad MacIntyre (48) and Jeff Carroll (49).
The Blackhawks are scheduled to take on visiting Holly at 3 p.m. Sept. 7.
