Brandon’s boys golf team is starting their Flint Metro League season off on the wrong foot.
The Blackhawks lost a Sept. 13 matchup against visiting Fenton, 147-165. The win improved Fenton to 2-0 in the league, while the Blackhawks fell to 0-2.
Will Hubbard and Ryan Bilkos each shot a 40 to lead the Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks also dropped their Flint Metro League opener Sept. 9, losing to Holly 161-175 at Heather Highlands Golf Course.
Hubbard, Bilkos and Jeff Carroll each shot a 43 for the Blackhawks.
