The Lake Orion cross country team was able to pull out a one point victory at the Oxford Invitational on Friday to take the Invitational trophy.
Led by senior Jack Everts, who finished in 6th place, the Dragons came rolling in with Ryan Mulcahy (7th), Matthew Mulligan (11th), Matthew Junkin (13th) and Andrew Nolan (14th) to secure the victory.
Also medaling for the Dragons were Greg Taylor (20th), Justin Keppler (22nd) and Chris Arbuckle (23rd).
The Dragons were able to finish first without their top runner, Michael Jarvis, in the meet.
The OAA League Meet begins at 4 p.m. on Oct. 20 at Bloomer Park in Rochester.
