From 6-9 p.m. July 18, the Ortonville DDA is hosting its first annual Bike Night at Crossman Park. The event will be run in conjunction with the Friday night Beets, Beats, and Eats event. The event is sponsored by: Chop Docs Choppers of Waterford; Boomers Bike Shop of Waterford; Jason Gault of Upland Realty, Inc of Ortonville; The Village Pub, Bullfrogs and The Boat Bar. The event will feature a display of custom motorcycles courtesy of Chop Docs Choppers, a ride-in bike show with four trophy categories, a dj showcasing blues and classic rock music, motorcycle themed vendors, traditional vendors and farmer’s market. Ortonville United Methodist Church will have a $5 dinner available with 1/4 pound coney dogs. After-events are being hosted at The Village Pub, Bullfrogs and The Boat Bar. ‘The Wild Run? ? a celebrity motorcycle ride led by Chop Docs Choppers owner Ron Harris (recently featured on Speed Network’s ‘American Thunder? television series) and Boomer, of Boomers Bike Shop.
