Description of Services
The Charter Township of Oxford is seeking a contractor with the capabilities of providing snow removal from certain sections of the Safety Path located in the Township during the winter season. The Township is seeking a complete ‘per push? hourly rate.
Description of Safety Path Maintenance Area
The Safety Paths listed below must be maintained when snow accumulates to at least two (2) inches or more, anytime, Monday through Friday (morning, daytime or evening).
? On West Drahner Road from Newman to Sanders (by Clear Lake Elementary School)
? On Pontiac Street from West Drahner Road to the Oxford Village limits (by Oxford Elementary School)
? On North Oxford Road from the Oxford Village limits to Ray Road (by Oxford High School)
? On Lakeville Road frm the Oxford Village limits to the end of the Safety Path, which is west of Grampian Road (by Oxford Middle School)
Description of Equipment
The Safety Paths shall only be maintained by a piece of machinery, such as a Bobcat, with a broom attachment. They may also be shoveled by hand. Under no circumstances, may the Safety Paths be plowed with a blade or with a snow blower or snow thrower.
Contractor Liability
The contractor shall be entirely responsible for any and all costs incurred by the Charter Township of Oxford in relation to damage to the Safety Paths and/or its surrounding areas caused by the snow removal process.
