Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School has a new school song.
The sixth grade band, under the guidance of band director Russ McMartin and Lori Smithling, have been working on the song with their students, which is now the official song of the school.
‘I’m very proud of the students for two reasons,? said principal Jeffrey Beane. ‘Their excitement and love for our school to actually write a song for it, and their eagerness to transfer their skills into music.?
Beane also commended McMartin and Smithling, saying that they ‘were integral in helping the kids bring this along. I want to thank them as well.?
