Some might say Jeff Beane’s life has come full circle.
The 1992 graduate of Oxford High School has spent the last three years as assistant principal at Oxford Middle School, and now, he’s decided to move on.
Friday was Beane’s last day at OMS before he takes hold of the reigns at Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School, a 5-6 building, in Brandon.
The Linden resident decided to take the position at Fletcher to be closer to his home and family, and because he’s always wanted to run his own building.
‘My goal going into administration was to become a building principal,? he said. ‘I felt it was a real good fit for me.?
Beane said he’s going to miss the people at OMS the most and the ‘relationships that’ve grown over the last few years.?
‘There’s been a lot of heartfelt wishes for me and I really appreciate that,? he said.
Good luck Mr. Beane!
