With a big game looming, the Dragons took care of business against lesser opponents last week.
LO first beat Waterford Mott 61-46 in an Oakland Activities Association crossover game on Jan. 24.
Drew Maynard led the way for the Dragons, scoring 19 points while grabbing nine rebounds.
Cole Moore was a perfect 9-9 from the field and scored 18 points, while Ross Tonyan added nine assists for LO.
The Dragons steadily built their lead from five points after one quarter, to ten at the half and then 18 after three quarters putting the game out of reach for Mott.
The Dragons then returned to league action and routed a struggling Bloomfield Hills Lasher team 69-31 on Jan. 27.
LO led 42-16 at the half and had a balanced scoring attack with three players in double-digits.
Jon Krause led the way for the Dragons with 15 points, Maynard netted 13 and Marc Thompson added 11 more.
With the two victories, LO is now 10-2 overall and 4-1 in OAA III action.
They next host Oak Park, which has won 29 straight in league play, on Feb. 3. Action begins at 7 p.m.
