Two appointed to village parks & rec committee

The village council has appointed Thomas Traurig and Richard Solomon to the parks & recreation advisory committee. Both will fill one-year terms, with Solomon serving as a non-voting member.

Village planning commission meeting axed

The regular meeting of the Lake Orion planning commission, scheduled for June 2, has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items. The next regular meeting is slated for Monday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m.
