Brief-Raises for Sheriff and Township

The Orion Township Board of Trustees voted to approve a three-year contract with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, extending the current agreement through 2015. In sum, the Sheriffs will receive a 1.67% increase. Salaried and nonunion positions at the township get a one percent bump, and the Supervisor’s position received a 2.5% increase.
