Many Clarkston area residents gathered at Fountains Golf and Banquet Center, Dec. 5, to enjoy food, drinks, live music, and dancing, all for an admission price of a newly unwrapped present to benefit Santa’s Kids.
The Clarkston News office will be closed at noon, Wenesdays, Dec. 24 and 31, and all day for Christmas and New Year’s Day, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The office will be open Fridays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
Robert Hahn of Clarkston is the newest member of the Clarkston Planning Commission. “He has a long history in the community,” said Council member Cory Johnston, who nominated him. Hahn fills Steve Wylie’s unexpired term, ending December 2009. The council voted 5-0 to approve the appointment.
