Man killed in wrong-way crash near Sashabaw

A Grand Blanc man was killed when his car was struck by a suspected drunk driver, 6:30 p.m., Dec. 18. Clarkston man joins state police

Steven Chenet of Clarkston joins the ranks of Michigan State Police, graduating from the 121st Trooper Recruit School, Dec. 19. Chenet was one of 83 graduates out of 101 recruits at the beginning of the academy, Aug. 10. More than 4,000 applied. He is assigned to the state police post in Paw Paw.
