The Wildcats Varsity volleyball team is off to a 1-2 season start after its opener last Monday. After beating Grand Blanc, the ladies dropped two games against Lake Orion and Notre Dame Prep. Regan Precour had 45 digs on the night.

Man hit, killed on I-75 near Sashabaw

State police are investigating the death of a driver on I-75 just south of Sashabaw Road. Police closed southbound I-75 lanes at about 3:30 p.m., detouring traffic onto Sashabaw Road. Northbound traffic remained open, although traffic backed up due to rubber necking.
