Argument leads to stabbing at Clubhouse Inspiration

A 46-year-old Rochester Hills woman has been charged with felonius assault with an edged weapon by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department for slicing a man’s neck with a kitchen knife.
According to Sheriff’s Deputy Hubble, the incident occurred at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, at the Training & Treatment Innovations (TTI) and Clubhouse Inspiration mental health facilities in the Oxford Mills Plaza on S. Lapeer Rd.
Hubble stated that the suspect was having a verbal argument with a 48-year-old man, also from Rochester Hills, when she grabbed a six-inch, seraded kitchen knife and cut him on the right side of his neck.
Both of the individuals involved in the incident were being treated by TTI.
The injured man was taken by American Medical Response to St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac for treatment. The suspect was transported by sheriff’s deputies to Common Ground in Pontiac, where she was committed by her physician.
