Alejandra Maria Garcia-Wagner, 40, of Lake Orion

Alejandra Maria Garcia-Wagner passed away on April 29, 2022 after a courageous battle with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). She was 40 years old.

Born on December 27, 1981, Ali resided in Lake Orion, Michigan. She was born the fourth and cherished youngest child of Henry and Jeanine Garcia. A loving sister to Andrea (Kristopher) Tovar, Juan Garcia, Elisia (Justin) Kowalski and beloved mother of Zaylia and Cruz Wagner.

Ali also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ali possessed a magnetic energy and radiant smile that drew in everyone around her. She utilized that energy to bring happiness and comfort to those she loved. She was creative, witty, silly and charismatic. She walked this life to the beat of her own drum and left a trail of memorable moments in her wake.

After graduating from Lake Orion High School in 2000, she followed her love of fashion, hair and make-up into Cosmetology school where she thrived with her artistic flare. She loved singing, drawing, dancing, jewelry making, antiques, repurposing items, and even earned a black belt in Taekwondo.

Ali’s greatest achievement in life was being a mother. She deeply loved her two children and was immensely proud of them. They remained her motivation in fighting ILD until the very end. With her legacy, she left a mark that can never be erased.
