Al Deeby hit again

For at least the fifth time in the last six months, rear tires and wheels were stolen off trucks at the Al Deeby car dealership on Dixie Highway in Springfield Township, according to Sergeant Mark Gardner of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department.
The theft occurred on Jan. 28 between 6:30?9:30 p.m. The rear tires and rims were removed from two Dodge Ram pickup trucks. Police discovered the missing tires around 9:30 p.m.
In a similar fashion to previous cases, the trucks were found propped up by bottle-type jacks on their rear axle.
Another similar theft occurred at Clarkston Chrysler on Big Lake Road the same day. Two wheels and tires were stolen from a Jeep Wrangler which was again propped up on a bottle jack.
‘I believe these cases are related. If anyone sees or has seen anything suspicious around the dealership call the substation,? said Gardner, who welcomes all tips including ones from anonymous sources.
Those with information can call the Springfield Township substation at 248-625-8531.
