Kelly Fox – Kelly Fox has graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. with a bachelor’s degree in the science of religion with an emphasis on women’s ministry. Kelly is now working at Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, Va.
The 2005 Goodrich High School graduate is the daughter of Bryan and Donna Fox.
Patrick L. Herta – a Brandon High School junior, has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars.
The NSHSS recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved superior academic excellence. Membership in the society entitles qualified students to enjoy a wide variety of benefits, including scholarship opportunities, academic competitions, free events, member-only resources, publications, participation in programs offered by educational partners, online forums, personalized recognition items, and publicity honors.
Patrick is the son of Pat and Denise Herta of Ortonville and grandson of Dennis and Donna Schumacher of Hubbardston, Mich. and David and Fritz Jackson of Clarkston.
Brittany Holderbaum – was honored with the Brandon High School 2009 Career and Technical Education Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement on April 30. She was selected by the BHS business teachers for her expertise in the career and technical education program. She has also earned Microsoft Expert Certification.
Brittany will attend Northwood University in the fall where she will double major in sports-entertainment promotion and management.
She is the daughter of Ryan and Michelle Holderbaum of Ortonville.
Bradley M. Lawrence – graduated from Michigan State University on May 9, receiving a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and psychology with high honors.
He plans to continue his education next year at Northwestern University, pursuing a doctorate degree in neuroscience.
The 2005 Brandon High School graduate is the son of Mike and Laura Lawrence of Groveland Township.
Jessica (Bishop) Toutant – a 2003 Brandon High School graduate, recently received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oakland University. She will continued to apply her knowledge in management of an Ortonville adult foster care home that serves the mentally ill and elderly. Now that her degree is behind her, Jessica and her husband of almost two years, Steven, are eager to start their family.
Jessica is the daughter of Kim Bishop of Ortonville.
