Aaron J. Sprague, age 48 of Oxford, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
Born in Southfield, Michigan and raised in Oxford, Aaron graduated from Oxford High School in 1995. Although he held certificates in both Radio Communications and Welding, Aaron loved to drive and his wanderlust was satisfied as a dedicated truck driver for over a decade.
He was known for his hard work and generosity, and was beloved by all who knew him. He was a giving man who loved playing softball with his league friends. His kindness and hardworking nature will be deeply missed.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Angela; his father, Aaron “Jim” Sprague (Sylvia); his three siblings, Staci Smith, Amy (Chris) O’Branovic, and Andrew “Andy” Sprague; his children, Alycia Berry, Tyler Agema, Devon (Cody Swxinkey) Fell, and Zachary Fell; his nephews, Chase and Zachary Smith, Christopher O’Branovic, and Drew and Walter Sprague; his nieces, Rachel (Michael) Murray and Alayna O’Branovic; and his grandson, Leland Draganic; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Stewart Sprague; his grandparents, Edward and Gertrude Stewart and Aaron and Betty Sprague; his aunt, Margaret “Peggy” Stewart Johnson and uncle, Gary Stewart. Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 39 W. Burdick, Oxford on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024 from 3-9 p.m. and Monday morning from 10-11 a.m. A Celebration of Aaron’s life will be held at on Dec. 16, 2024 at Aaron and Angela’s church, Kirby Free Will Baptist in Flat Rock. Doors will open at 2 p.m. and the service will be at 3 p.m. with a luncheon to follow the service.
