A cut above the rest
Last Friday, Oxford Middle School sixth-grader Joey Ufolla, 12, did something not too many boys do ? he donated 11 inches of his hair to Locks of Love.
He endured two years of being teased by his wrestling and football teammates to make the donation to the charitable organization.
Both his mom, Toni, and sister, Kaitlin, 15, have donated to Locks of Love in the past. In total, the family has donated 34 inches of hair.
After his hair was cut at Oxford Great Clips, his sister screamed with excitement when she actually got to see her brother’s ears.
