Wolves fall into first place tie

Clarkston rallied from a 14-10 deficit to win the first game, but they could not sustain the momentum. Lahser opened up the second game with a 9-0 run.
‘Every point was a rally but we just couldn’t hang with them in that second game. After the first game I thought momentum was in our favor,? Clarkston coach Kelly Avenall said.
The Wolves are 17-10-1 overall and 8-2 in the league with two league games left on the schedule.
Earlier in the week Clarkston picked up a win at Troy Athens by defeating the Red Hawks 15-11, 14-16, 15-11.
‘We played well. A lot of the girls stepped up and played a nice game,? Avenall said.
